it also took time to appear on my end, on a 1909 version with IE 11 and traditional Edge, im sure it will eventually appear.
It appeared all over the place now on several PCs at home. But holy cow is it intrusive! I can't click the X button, I HAVE to go through the update process on all machines.
Well well well
Edge imports Firefox data without user consent | Born's Tech and Windows World

Are we going to get treated to spam popups advertising Edge and having it duplicate our data from Firefox without asking every time Microsoft decides to update it from now on? : Windows10
(I still did not get it, I think, which is a blessing under these circumstances)
And this is still not coming through WU on either of our home machines! As someone else mentioned it seems ludicrous they are doing a staged release on a browser. I know I can do it manually but I just find it bizarre. Will
just stick with legacy edge for now. Seems fine for our uses at the moment
Better late than never, eh?
(I do see that KB # differs, obviously)
I really wonder what took so long - not that I intend to use it anyway.
EDITED TO ADD:
Am now genuinely confused: what's been installed just now:
KB4559309 Update for new Microsoft Edge for Windows 10 - May 27
actually precedes what's available as per this very thread (KB4541302).
What the heck? Can someone explain this to me?
Got it finally via WU on 1 out of 2 machines earlier. Question about this, do people keep the sync option on or off? I thought I saw somewhere that the sync is buggy and multiple favourites are being created over and over again. Or am I just imagining it? I don’t want my bookmarked favourites to get hosed up
Been maining this browser for a long time so no need to update for me, I do think this browser is a step in the right direction for MSFT Edge.
