You could try to download the Windows 10 version 2004 ISO file, and perform an upgrade install with the ISO.

Download Windows 10 ISO File

Upgrade to Windows 10

Windows Setup will let you know while doing the upgrade if there's any compatibility issues before it actually starts the upgrade process.

You are probably lucky. It hadn't come to my pc yet so I installed it thru Insider without any problem installing, but it completely messed up that pc, it couldn't even recognize my MS account. Thank God for Macrium Reflect, I was able to restore it back to 1909. Windows Update isn't offering version 2004 to either of my pc's as of tonight, but I feel lucky at this point that neither of of them has been offered the update. I will just relax and hope they get the mess cleaned up.

That's exactly what I did and everything went smooth and running great.

MS staggered roll out. You can wait, or do it yourself with Media Creation Tool or Update Assistant. Lots have updated and I haven't seen or heard any major issues. It's pretty clean.
