    Strange I have this on 8 different computers, all running different version of Windows 10, all have the same issues. I have even tested this now on 4 work compouters, all same issue.
    Maybe it's specific to installs for particular base languages . Mine is an 'English International' en-gb install.

    Ok, I have even tested this on a machine I received from Ireland, brand new HP ZBook, I am only a user on this machine, no admin rights and it has the same issue. This version is the UK install. Very fustrating. If I delete the shortcuts, run sfc /scannow, the folder is re created, and the one icon is still incorrect. Any idea where this information is restored from?

    If I delete the entire Admitools folder, run sfc /scannow then Defrag is shows the exe file name not Defrag and Optimizer Drives

    Note how services start with lower case, RecoverDrive, is not the normal name, all strange, and the same behaviour on all pcs tested.

    @PurSpyk,

    What happens if you right-click on System Information icon > Left-click on Properties > On Shortcut Tab, click on "Change icon" (red arrow in screenshot). Dou you see the regular normal icon?.

    The icons shows correct, and if I click OK, then the correct icon is shown, until i do a sfc again (which has become a habit after installing updates)

    When sfc /scannow is run, does it give "No integrity violations" as a result. You said all PCs are doing the same weird change upon the icon after running it, I would try a repair install on one of them where you have admin rights and see if the issue persists, but it is all up to you.

    I did a repair install over the weekend, I have found some odd bits on one pc, that seems to be left over from the Windows 7 Start Menu. What bothers me is the HP laptop, this was shipped with the OEM version of Windows, ie brand new install, and it has the same odd icon.

    That is very strange, to say the least. Are all the PCs on the same network?

    Booted to dev channel build 20150 and have same issue. Changed the shortcut icon to what it's supposed to be and ran DISM restore health and the icon remained. Ran sfc /scannow and it found corrupt files and successfully repaired them. Icon went back to generic. No problem on 10 May Update version 2004 though.

    No not on the same network. Network is totally isolated, heavy security due to work restrictions
