    If your machine is not ready you can click check for updates.
    We do and we still get....

    That's the point. And yes, I just checked and still get the above notification.

    I have seen nothing yet on either machine in my system specs, not even the "blocked" message.
    I have tested it on my main rig and it seems to work fine except for a few of the known issues.

    I'm in no rush...
    1909 works just fine daily, and I can keep myself entertained testing the weekly fast releases.

    peace

    Thanks for the clarification :3 Guess I'll wait. I just wish they told me what's "not ready yet".

    If I click on the "learn more" tab - under the 2004 block message by Windows Update -, it will link me to a known issue page on docs.microsoft. What I find interesting here is that it tells me;

    Could it be it's blocked because I haven't manually checked for updates? (I let it do its own thing) Will it be unblocked if I click on 'check for updates'? I don't want to click on it just in case my machine is actually not ready for it. I just assumed it's blocked because they told me my machine is "not quite ready yet."

    Faith, you are getting this. There are currently many "Hard Compatibility Holds" MS has issued. Nothing you can do but wait. MS advise not to try to force it in any way.

    Details for the hard holds are in this MS doc: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/win...004#433msgdesc

    Yea, figured as much. I want them to be more transparent because none of the known issues relates to me.

    I still am not getting anything on my main system. I did notice something on my win10 VM now 2004, I went to check disk clean-up on previous version clean-up and it lists only 600mb size.
    I remember seeing a few GB on older version clean-ups.

    Honestly this feels like a pre-release beta test where they only targeted a limited number of machines before "fully" releasing the upgrade to the masses.

    You got it! It's an A/B Feature Update! Trick is to figure out which is the "B" group who don't get it and sign up fast!
