Yes, this is normal. All updates you received before the upgrade to 2004 are no longer relevant and are removed from the Update History and Control Panel's list of installed updates. You are effectively starting afresh with a new OS, the update history for your previous OS is now irrelevant.

You will not see the feature update in Update History either, only updating through windows update will add an entry like this one....

I installed the update today. All seems OK apart from when unzipping large zip files (998mb my website root folder backup) using the 'Extract All' in the context menu. It is extremely slow at unzipping it compared to the previous version before the update. I disabled my AV in case it was causing the slowdown, but it doesn't make any difference. Has anybody else experienced this?

I have two new HP Windows 10 desktops, purchased in July and November of 2019.... I clicked on "update and security" and was greeted with this on both computers

Phew..... I'm so glad not to install the latest version until all the bugs are worked out!!

Hasn't made its way to NZ yet for my two comps! Maybe it's because out borders are pretty much locked down??!!

Do we have any faith that the bugs are going to be worked out? I can see them trying to fix the ones that the blocks are in place for, but what about the rest? Like many others i've paused uodates for as long as it allows, but then what? Back in the same position as today.

Perhaps i should install an earlier Nvidia driver and hope my machine is blocked?

This is an optional update. You will not be forced to apply it until your current version reaches end of life.

Bugs will be squashed sooner or later but going by past history probably new ones introduced, it's an ongoing battle. Most bugs are known by now so you can decide by yourself if you can live with them. Based on that you can also decide to force update or block them otherwise. There are people that successfully use much earlier builds than 1909 .
