Brink will users that are still on 1903 get 2004 directly through WU ?

Also what do you mean if the system is not compatible ? If i'm still using 1903 and not on 1909 does that mean my system is not compatible according to MS ?
    Hello Mike,

People on 1903 or 1909 will eventually get 2004 via Windows Update, or can of course manually upgrade to 2004.

A compatibility issue would be say something a hardware, driver, or program not compatible with 2004.

Brink i was asking because i'm now on 1903 and support for 1903 ends on Decemeber this year.

I hope the issues with 2004 get resolved by then.

Also will we be able to directly upgrade from 1903 to 2004 and skip 1909 using Windows Update ?

Correct, it will update you directly to 2004 from 1903 via Windows Update or manual upgrade.

It's a staggered release of 2004 via Windows Update, so you should eventually have it available via Windows Update.

I'm just hoping it won't take too long because 1903 ends support on December this year.

It should only be a few days at most usually.

If all else fails, you could download the Windows 10 version 2004 ISO, and manually upgrade to 2004 from the ISO.

    Download Windows 10 ISO File

    Upgrade to Windows 10

    Manually ?

What so i'd have to do like an Windows 10 install ??

I really don't want to have to do that... i'd rather just let it install through WU.
