Ver 2004(OS Build 19041.264) Windows Home.
Everything seems faster, quicker responses. Upgraded from download from Microsoft. I should have timed the process, but did not.

I don't know if this is only happen to asus laptop, but my asus ROG had experienced getting a bios update from windows update last year.
I'm sorry i can't attach a screenshot of my windows update history because it's gone after clean install, but maybe you can look at this screenshot taken from asus FAQ
Really appreciate if you or someone else can explain because I'm also confused, as far as I know the bios update can only be done manually whether with Winflash or EZflash (for Asus).
Thank You :)
I've no idea what that is being downloaded, but as far as I know, and with all my 22+ years of PC building, I've yet to ever get a BIOS update through Windows Update. On the flipside, I've only used (built) Intel based systems. Perhaps someone else can enlighten me on this.
That said, what kind of PC is that? It also looks like it's using an ARM CPU, instead of an Intel or AMD processor. That tells me the machine may be the exception to the rule. Perhaps systems with ARM processors work differently in the way the BIOS is updated? I don't know. Again, perhaps someone using those systems can enlighten me?
But again, you could help us out by providing system information like make and model of the machine in question?
Thanks.
I upgraded from 1909 (18363.836) via the MCT and all went smoothly, was back at the desktop in ~ 40 mins I think.
However, many ESENT 642 errors came to stay, as well as the usual DCOMs that are fairly easy to fix. My Event Log is usually clean, and I wasn't able to find a resolution for the ESENT logs, so I eventually went back to 1909 (Macrium).
I was mostly interested in experimenting with WDDM 2.7 and the GPU Hardware Scheduling, but wasn't able to use the NVidia Dev Driver 450.99 either due to gamma/brightness issues that a couple of other users have reported.
No harm done, but a bit of a bummer. Might install a fresh copy on my other partition and wait for some fixes.
just talked to HP support recommendation avoid it if you have realtek drivers for Bluetooth at least on my laptop can't say for others stuff. they say to avoid till it gets sent to me, as HP will be sending me drivers from realtek for BT stuff if mine is affected. if its not affected it will just show up in windows update one day.
