Hi, I don't know how to make a suggestion to MS, I know there are a lot of MVPs here so I leave my suggestion here.
They put the temperature of the GPU but not the CPU! It's a detail but it's more important the CPU temperature, in the task manager they only put the GPU temperature.
Where did you find GPU temperature in Windows ?

Just finished up my 2010 ASUS X54C laptop, and my 2015 Lenovo H530 desktop without a hitch, using the ISO from MCT.
Neat is my Lenovo uses an N version of Win10, and since 1909 the media pack is included in Optional Features.
With 1909 I needed to "install"(better said turn on) it, this time it updated along with the upgrade and I didn't need to do anything.

This is way better than when you need to go and get it from a media pack download page.
Micro soft might have problems with OEM drivers, but they at least get their own stuff right sometimes.

    Again and again and again...
CD-DA image (cue/bin) IS NOT an ISO file. No way to mount it directly (NOT TO RIP IT) in Windows without Daemon tools or similar utility.
    Hi there

here we go AGAIN "ad nauseam"

Not sure what version of Windows you are running

But here we go again !!!

here's an Audio CD -- no need for daemon tools etc

How to get the Windows 10 May 2020 Update version 2004-audiocd.png

from here just process it "at will" with any software you like

I just put this CD (one of the few physical audio CD's I have left) into an external CD/DVD writer and windows displayed it as above --like I said --track1.cda etc etc

Any software such as the old Winamp will tag tracks and rip if you want.

No need again for Daemon tools !!!!!

I think we'd better avoid arguing as we obviously can't agree about anything -- probably even on the merits of free beer too !!!

    Cheers

    Hi Gang,

Installed 2004 update yesterday - seems most things straightened themselves on their own - had a wack of Office & system updates that i had previously hide using Windows Update MiniTool. Rehide them again so they wouldn't download.

Like many of you, TRIM doesn't remember when last run - says 'never run' even though i did it after update & cleanup - it is supposed to do it every week but prior to update did not - showed last time run May 9th??!

However, the main issue is i can't put laptop in either hibernate/sleep mode. The reason why i know this is i have a USB cooling mat that continued running after trying to put in either state. Pressing the power button shuts down the laptop. The screen does go black. I guess i could change the power options to when i press the power button it goes into hibernate/sleep mode but i'm afraid if i do that & need to do a hard shutdown, i will not be able to.

So, gurus, does anyone have the same issue? If you do, have you been able to rectify the issue? Anyone have knowledge of what i can do to fix this bugaboo?

All & any thoughts much appreciated!

    TIA,

    Ray

I am from Central Alabama (between Birmingham and Anniston) and have yet to receive the update on any of my computers. I checked all day yesterday all of them, and I checked my new HP Laptop, and it still is not being offered as an update in Windows Update.

    Does anyone know why?
