Not true, just wait until the next version.
You need to have the switch on before it updates to the final build(I forgot to change it too, but I'm ready the next time around)

Cliff, if I opt out now will I get the release tomorrow with official release?

If you live outside the US, say goodbye to Cortana before you update to 2004.

(some may regard that as a good thing though )

    Yes...

Of the two three four five six machines so far where I have been a 'seeker' by checking for updates, two found it, the others didn't. Oddly enough they were two of my oldest machines, System One in my specs below and an old Acer Aspire One AOD270 netbook (2GB RAM, Intel Atom N2600, x86 W10).
    This thread, post #9

...and both have been successfully updated by windows update (paint would have dried quicker though). The others still don't see it offered.

I only got it offered on one of 6 "eligible" PCs. I've grabbed the ISO and will slowly start making my way onto all of the other hold-outs. Interestingly, the Windows 10 Upgrade assistant still thinks running 1909 is "up to date." I flagged this to Jen Gentleman on Twitter, but it's still looking for the wrong version number (apparently).
