What I advise you check to see if your motherboard has any new chipset and/or USB drivers.

Gateway DX4370G (computer 1) 2.20 gigahertz AMD A6-3620 APU with Radeon HD Graphics

added a nividia geforce gt 710

the Gateway is no longer supported. Last bios update was 2012 as was the chipset.

Does it work with the GT 710? I have an ASUS Computer with that card, no onboard/built-in video adapter. It's about 4 years old.

Yep and the 710 has new updates for july 2020.
I got it because it was cheap hand had new drivers. the radeon didn't support miracast so
I couldn't cast videos to my roku Tv. the 710 does.

Well that's the downside of holding on to 8+ year old hardware - new driver support. No other suggestions other than the one you probably don't want to hear - upgrade.

Specially with brand name machines, my 2008 self built with ordinary HW still has drivers all drivers updated.and got offer to update to 2004 from 1703

That's good cause most board vendors stop supporting a board after about 3-4 years. A vendor still supporting a 12-year old board is impressive to say the least. What vendor and board?

Thanks, good to know, can always change a card but hate to unless there's no other way to use it.

Gigabyte still reply to support requests on my 8 year old motherboard. There have been mo updates from Gigabyte for some time but some of the drivers for Realtek and Intel stuff are still updated via Windows update.
