    Ah, I see. The download link below when running MediaCreationTool2004.exe just takes you back to download 1909 instead.

    So today is D day eh ? I think I can wait 2.5 hours for H hour and M minute. For me it's usually 19.00H (for you civilians it's 7 PM).

    The first thing any media creation tool since the one for 1903 does is to download Products.cab to the C:\$Windows.~WS\Sources folder. It extracts Products.xml from this which contains the pointers to the downloads required for the current release version. the 2004 MCT is expecting pointers to build 19041 files, but finds only 18363 listed.

    Until Microsoft put the 2004 Products .cab on the download servers the MediaCreationTool2004.exe will tell you that it is not the current version and that you need a 'newer' (actually the older 1909) MCT to work with the Products.cab that's there right now.

    You don't even need the latest MCT, once MS update the Products.cab any MCT from 1903 on will read it and build the 2004 media.

    Unfortunate that Nvidia released a driver today that does not support WDDM 2.7. They said they would release one that supports WDDM 2.7 on the day of the 2004 release.
