21H1 - Sounds like a new string of the flu (aka H1N1) haha

I'd already read the feature on Neowin about this and it should turn out to be an interesting or frustrating ride for Fast Ring Insiders.
I just hope the frustrating side is kept to a minimum

Hopefully there might be a point near to the final release where Insiders who want to can jump off the Insider ship and move to the official release if they want to.

That's what I think is going to happen when it switches to 21H1. That would give anyone in the Fast ring a chance to easily drop out like it use to be.

I hope you guys remember, that current Fast Ring builds are already far beyond version 2004? Downgrading Windows is not possible.

In a few days, when version 2004 will be released, it will be absolutely not possible to switch to version 2004 and quit Fast Ring without a clean install.

Most probably, if you select Stop getting Insider builds now, you'll switch back to official releases when version 21H1 will be released, in about a year from now.
