Hi,
Probably not the first time you've exaggerated the bugs in 2004 if installed and not the last either
Come on, insiders anywhere, how is any prior future build any different lol they're all beta each and everyone of them.
I've frankly never looked at any ms compatibility statement for any rig and doubt I ever will I'll be the judge of what works and what doesn't.
I had 2004 installed on the first day, it went downhill from there.
None of the bugs reported are being exaggerated by anyone here.
It declined on me everyday with one problem after another until one morning it froze on me.
Luckily I had MR backups to get my self out of it.
Soon as I returned to the previous version everything was back to normal
I don't recommend anyone install it unless they have a backup system and know how to use it to get themselves back to the previous version.
Granted, it Might work on a few systems but keep an eye out for little quirks.
I'm not having any special troubles with 2004, probably because I'm not doing those things most bugs can exploit. One thing I started noticing, performance is somewhat erratic, some things like opening programs and entering Settings for instance get pretty logy after couple of days of straight running. This morning Settings just wouldn't open and few APPs would not start. After a restart it returns to normal.
That is a flat out lie, and you know it. MS themselves recommend to NOT force it. This one example from MS. Their words, not mine.
"
To safeguard your update experience, we have applied a compatibility hold on Windows 10 devices with affected drivers or firmware from being offered Windows 10, version 2004.
Affected platforms:
- Client: Windows 10, version 2004
Next steps: Microsoft and Intel are working on a resolution and will provide an update in an upcoming release.
Note We recommend that you do not attempt to manually update using the Update now button or the Media Creation Tool until this issue has been resolved."

Manually upgraded on 5/27 on 2 of 3 systems, haven't really noticed any major bugs, besides the optimize drives one, but overall i just have to wait patiently til Microsoft patches then, as don't really wanna go back to 1909 LOL
I always tend to upgrade the first day a new release comes out, maybe not such a good idea, but always been a habit of mine for many many years
Regarding the known issue highlighted in f14tomcat's post above:
What is "Always On Always Connected"?
I get leaving your PC always on and always connected, but is this an app in Windows 10? If so, where is it?
No, an 'Always on' PC is like a mobile phone - always on 'standby' never truly turned off. Some from HP, Lenovo and Samsung featured here:
