Maybe Microsoft has implemented a Tick-Tock development system like Intel!

Should I just wait for the 20H2, instead of upgrading to 2004?
Also even when the 20H2 comes out, won't the updating system still will have to go through the 2004 first, bringing all of its issues, before I'm allowed to click&download the 20H2 service pack, so is there even any point to wait?

You answered your own question. Yes, it's a bit of a catch-22. If MS follows the method from last Fall, then the 20H2 will be a Cumulative to 20H1 which is currently playing hide and seek. But..... who knows what is on their minds.

I find it risible that neither of my Microsoft Surfaces are compatible with 2004 so far. I mean, that's MS's flagship product? And it can't run their latest update?

Flagship product or not, if any of the hard lock known issues apply, it's a no go. Remember.... it's not your machine that's at fault here, it's the update. You, and the machine are quite ready for it, MS isn't ready for you.

Never said that. Never implied that. If I did, show me where.

They (MS) has to fix several REAL serious bugs ( or should we call them BIG FAILURES ?!)..............
It would not surprise me if they will pull out this "upgrade"..........
