    Nah, this is fine - will just await the fix as it's not something I depend on (if at all). Still, I just cannot understand how one can introduce such pickle...

    Also there's nothing I've been made aware of in 20H2 that I want, so will stay with 2004 until they fix 20H2.

    I sadly missed the boat: wanted to move to 2004 end of Oct but upgrade notification has upped itself to 20H2 and had no other option...

    Maybe not. Check your updates in control panel and see whether the enablement package is installed. If you can uninstall that you will go back to 2004.

    Ah, firstly there's not need to do that really as 20H2 does work (for me) equally fine.

    And secondly: 1909 was nuked by Windows couple of weeks ago already so would need to restore from early Oct image - which I think would be way over the top taking into account this one small pickle outstanding (Task Manager startup thingy). So all good from that perspective.

    That's all good then. I thought from your post you really preferred to be on 2004.
