Has anyone in the the UK been offered this update yet?

I've checked for updates on 4 different machines and no updates are showing so i'm guessing it hasn't been rolled out here yet.
No, and I have no intention of accepting this bug ridden update any time soon

Yep, this is true and we're all taking chances by installing an update that wasn't "offered through Windows Update". Still, the sheer number of issues here certainly make this a not ready for prime time update. It wouldn't surprise me if Microsoft pulled it temporarily much as they did for 1903. To be honest, I'm surprised this hasn't already been done.

Anyway, I'm also one of those first early adopters who also bypassed the "your PC isn't ready" warning and tried to update my backup PC. For me it was a total disaster to the point that for the first time in ever, I'm talking about holding off on an upgrade on my main rig. Some I've never ever done. And I've been running Windows since Windows 95.

All that said, we're PC enthusiasts so that's what we do... take chances.

    My two cents.

Was 2004 offered as an optional update in Windows Update? Or did you manually upgrade from an ISO?

If you forced the upgrade, then you may have bypassed the checks for known blocking issues. If you have not deleted your Windows.old folder, then you could go back to your previous version and wait for it to be offered to you.

Go Back to the Previous Version of Windows in Windows 10

So far 2004 has been trouble free on my two machines that were offered the update. There are bugs though, notably the Defrag issue where it cannot remember the last time it was run. I'm not going to update any of my other machines until they are offered the update.
Hey Bree and sygnus21, just so you know I ended up reverting back to 1909. I couldn't handle how bad 2004 is. I've also paused updates until July 5. Thanks again for reminding me about this.

What bugs are you referring too?

I did a clean install of 2004 on my desktop last night and seems to be working fine. If anything it seems a bit a bit quicker than before but that might be because I didn't reinstall the asus junk software.

I have to agree... what bugs?

My issue was the update simply won't install on my system. What are your issues???

Run this in an ELEVATED Command Prompt window to clean out your Event Viewer logs:

    for /F "tokens=*" %1 in ('wevtutil.exe el') DO wevtutil.exe cl "%1"

Good day all. I upgraded to version 2004 on my Dell Optiplex 7050 Windows 10 Pro using Media Creation Tool. Installation went smoothly... except MS Outlook would for some reason not remember and kept asking for my mail password after each restart or boot up. This address is a not an Outlook/Hotmail/Gmail one, but a co.za one. I was online with MS help… the end result was that they suggested a fresh install... I’m now back to version 1909.. Installed MS 365 again.. and now no problem with Outlook. WU have now offered me version 2004.. but I’m very reluctant to do so. Any suggestions? Thank you

Why don't you have full system backup ? Much faster than reinstalling windows and programs. Then you can try anything you want,
