My thumb hurts, thus the suggestion to minimize scrolling. Easy enough for Brink to make a clickable link out of the message

Thanks. Did you check C:\Windows\System32\WDI\LogFiles\StartupInfo folder file dates?
    [snip]
Apologies for resurrecting this after two months... This is to say that I went in there earlier today and StartupInfo folder did not exist in my case. All other files in the folder above (C:\Windows\System32\WDI\LogFiles) were present and probably as expected (having compared this with my work laptop with recently deployed 1909 on-board).

I did create this folder and will see if/where it gets me to...

    EDITED TO ADD:

This folder did exist on my 1909 in Oct, prior to upgrading to 20H2, I just checked the image from then...

I believe that is a sign of what happens when 20H2 broke the Task Manager - Startup values from being measured. I don't recall seeing that 20H2 fixed the problem and I'm still using 2004.

Depending on how many days ago you installed 20H2 and if you have a full backup of your 19xx, you could roll back to it, then update to 2004 via the 2004 ISO and stay on 2004 if this little pickle troubles you enough.
