Installed overnight, got stuck on a black screen, had to hard switch off, but installed and upgraded after restart.

Only issue, since previous update before this, MS Lifecam HD 3000 stopped working and is still not working in this update.

    USB device not recognised.
My Logitech camera still works. Have you tried uninstalling the driver and reinstalling it in device manager?

Has anyone noticed that if you attempt to download the iso (for x32 builds) vide uup dump the process fails with the remark "missing blobs". On comparing the files of uup dump with those of Windows update, I noticed that the uup dump was missing as many as 15 files (or missing blobs as they call it). On coping the files from Windows update the uup dump software proceeded to immediately create the iso file. Cheers.

Tried every possible thing. It just doesn't pick it up, but works fine on another PC/laptop. Had this issue about 4 release back as well, and then 3 releases back it started working again. Since the last two releases it's broken again. And so frustrating, would think Microsoft product would work with Microsoft Windows. Did mention in feedback hub, so I'll just try after each new update again.

Hm, just guessing here. Last build was problematic for drivers Many users had problems with Nvidia cards. Solution was, to go into device manager and Manually update drivers, point to Browse my computer, and then Manually pick.. driver for Nvidia was already there.

You could try similar with your cam.

Have you tried updating or rolling back the driver in device manager?

My Microsoft LifeCam VX 7000 works just fine. Also the MS installed drivers for my NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 work fine.

Thank you for all the advice, but I have tried every suggestion I could find on the web, removing, reinstalling, all. It just doesn't pick it up when plugged in and gives Port Reset Failed. I can live without the cam, purchased separate desktop mic, was all I need for now, the video part can wait. I will keep on checking after each new update, and hopefully it will just start working, otherwise when need for camera part becomes issue, will purchase newer one.

Gpedit failed once again in blocking M$ from changing AMD Radeon Software drivers.
Perhaps the Update included new Gpedit setup?
Don't know...my Gpedit policy settings worked fine, though--the manually installed 20.4.2 set installed a couple of builds back were maintained through install of 19628.1., as well. Haven't seen a driver overwrite in--well, can't recall the last one.
