Now Windows can't do Hibernate or Sleep. It always Shutdown, no matter which option you choose.
The last working build was 19041.172
Absolutely stopped working, yes.......... Have tried everything to get it back and working - hope they get it sorted soon.

Hello Danish, and welcome to Ten Forums.

Have you already tried updating to the latest build below to see if it may have been sorted in it?

Hello Brink, and thanks for the welcome

Yes I'm on 19041.264 and it's still not sorted. The problem started a few weeks ago, didn't pay attention at first so not sure which update caused the problem. But yeah now, putting laptop to sleep or hibernation or just closing the lid shuts it completely down. I've tried all the suggestions I've been able to find, but nothing works - that's how i ended up here seeing Dowden20's comment. Wish I was brave enough to roll back some of the latest updates, but afraid to make things worse. At least every thing else seems to work - but hoping for a fix soon. Cheers

@dowden20 I have sorted my problem with Hibernation... If you are using Avast or AVG antivirus programs try to uninstall and re-install latest version. See here https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...1fe7788?page=1 That sorted it for me. Cheers Soren

Since 20H2 when computer goes to sleep mode after 120 minutes, the screen goes blank and the USB devices shut off but the power supply stays on and I cannot wake up the system by the mouse or keyboard. Had to remove the update and all is back to normal.

Here my PC decides from time to time to let me punch in my pincode after a boot to Windows or even a restart while I decided to NOT to do it. (usually I boot straight into Windows) after updating to 20H2.Sounds like unsafe but I'm the only owner to this PC so yeah. :) Looks like Windows sometimes it forgets how to boot...
