What I did was to force shutdown computer, and start again. it started back from 30%, and completed afterwards. gave me a heart attack though. wasted about 2.5 hours, and caused much stress. think I am pausing for 35 days.

Glad you was able to finish the update. On my computer I hit the reset and the changes were rolled back. My second attempt I used UUPDump and was able to get updated. I still need to do my Laptop.

Video drivers. Usually having to reinstall after an upgrade as the Adrenalin software won't load.

Okay. Sorry I got confused by the version number because I don't run an AMD gpu. I was looking at all my AMD drivers thinking, "I don't see a v20.4.2." Lol. Thanks.

FYI, the AMD bug is present here only if the Radeon app is not installed before enabling Internet. That way, the AMD display driver of Lenovo doesn't show up.

It is this driver that causes the lost of adrenalin on our AMD mobo. Lenovo Radeon app is way behind schedule.

For the news beta app, enabling text mode doubles the size of the pics. A+

till one day run ...for the time beeing...no issues for me ..sound is good..no more freezes...changing streaming movies any sites from minimize to maximize..no problem...surfing and open any websites no problem...check drivers using 3 third party software's...all said all your drivers up to date (23 for samples)

Sound issues and GSOD.
