    Hello Windows Insiders, today we’re releasing 20H1 Build 19041.208 (KB4558244) to Windows Insiders in the Slow ring. This Cumulative Update includes the same fixes from Build 19041.207 plus this additional fix:

    • We fixed an issue that fails to send NPLogonNotify API notifications from the credential provider framework.

    Known issues

    • We are aware Narrator and NVDA users that seek the latest release of Microsoft Edge based on Chromium may experience some difficulty when navigating and reading certain web content. Narrator, NVDA and the Edge teams are aware of these issues. Users of legacy Microsoft Edge will not be affected. NVAccess has released a NVDA 2019.3 that resolves the known issue with Edge.

    got it. had to rejoin the insider programme and join the slow ring. windows update got it. then i changed from slow ring to release preview and set "stop getting preview builds".

    Just got the word from Corrine Chorney over at Windows Insider MVP yammer. Jumped right on it, and got it done. Took very little time; no apparent issues. Rebooting into post-GUI "Handling updates" and it jumped right to 100% and the desktop. Done!

    this v2004 fixed a bug causing icons not to appear correctly for apps on my external USB drive. I thought maybe thats just how it works and its a feature not a bug so would never get fixed. but happy to see they fixed it. but i did have a work-around for the problem..it involved changing the icon for each app on the properties tab. before that i was resizing the apps i pinned to start to medium so i could see the titles! see image below.
