I've paused update for 7 days on one laptop that had audio and freezing issues with 19608. Rolled back to 19592 version where it's working fine. Could be an idea to wait for the next update.
same with me this build was favorite build with me....and i was took as base line build for up date 19608..with UUP dumps/iso file cause iso file give me some options ..up date driver or not now...i chose not now....after istalled then i up date my drivers and fix the drivers problem... i also did : in device manager...universal serial bus controllers..in Power management.(clik Poperties/right click)...All USB root Hub...unchek..Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power ..in human interface devices ..USB input Device ..in power management .. i did same things ..in Key Board..HID key Board Device..in power management..Check...Allow this device to wake computer..look working for me..no more freeze..for sound i have problem only i did turn off/on window defender...sound like glass break ..now i will take 19608 as base line build..

Is there any known way to revert to regular builds without losing data?

It's a tricky one. Since the Fast Ring in it's new guise is probably never going to be the same build as General Release there doesn't seem to be a way to do that without a clean install.

    Not really.

My method is to save data to a different drive .
Before I got on the fast ring I made an image of the computer with Macrium reflect, so if
I didn't like it, the original could be back on the computer in 15 minutes.

About 1.5 hour to update from 19603 to 19608.1006. This machine would error when trying to download/install 19608.1000. No issues with 19608.1006, so far.

My Fast Ring build is a virgin W10 install, Data is on a separate drive and if I need a third party program I use a portable version also on a separate drive. That's the way I'll work for the moment as I've had to do two clean installs of recent builds.

Did the update to .1006 on the old Toshiba. Audio still sounds like Donald Duck but no freezing or GSOD. Will leave it on.

I did this too after my laptop kept shutting off or sleeping. I thought it was a hardware problem because this laptop looks like Frankenstein. I never once thought it was the build and now I know.it's not this old boy's fault.
