    Hi folks

Been trying to break this one for a couple of days -- seems fine -- everything working (including Networking) -- no issues with this one apart from very minor glitches with language when logging on using the secondary language. Not a showstopper as it only obscure windows settings that have language a bit hosed up -- typical users will never see or use those. I'm on the 1909/ 778 363 version.

I still can't get sensible networking though on the insider builds --another issue though. So if the current RP build is going to be the next RTM and standard roll out --I'd avoid for a while if you've got home networks around.

    Cheers

Any one else getting audio issues since this update?

I'm getting audio stuttering and robotic sound on my desktop.

Edit: Just run windows update again and a new a-volute driver got installed seems to have solved it.

Am I correct in that this update had some fix to wireless problems? I usually connect my laptop using the Ethernet connection to my network. I just happened to try the wireless connection a few hours ago, and although it said it was connected, I could not connect to anything outside the computer (Internet sites or other computers on my network). After installing the update, my Internet connection was miraculously restored.

A somewhat tardy response but I wanted to do some extensive checking before making any rash statements.

So I put this update on my test PC (W10 Pro) followed by my music laptop (W10 Home) - no issues.THEN, I applied it to my aging travelling laptop (Toshiba Satellite running W10 Home, previously W7)

I previously had a note to investigate a fairly consistent problem with this laptop where on startup or restart, the WiFi was slow to connect - occasionally needing to be manually connected even to a known network.

However once it started it worked solidly.

(This would also occur when the machine awoke from Hibernation which I disabled some time ago as the machine has an SSD and Hibernation is superfluous.)

I don't recall accurately when this first occurred but it's been an issue for about a year and I keep this machine updated and Macrium backups. As I said, this machine was originally W7 and is not officially supported by Toshiba for W10.

When I upgraded I had to manually find the best WiFi drivers for the best performance, so I thought that it would be a driver issue.
However, after installing KB4549951, there are far fewer WiFi issues: I've had the CU on there for 6 days and have been monitoring it - startups from "cold" connect every time and restarts also work although there is sometimes a short delay but so far it has always connected without any manual intervention.

So Yes, I think there is something in KB4549951 concerning networking.

Oh and just for completeness, I did perform a driver check on the WiFi and Windows informs me that it's up to date.
