For some reason I can't get my Netgear router to use ipv6. In the router settings it says Router's IPv6 Address on WAN not available. I know this use to work. I checked for a firmware update for the router but it's using the latest update.
    Hi there

maybe ISP or whatever --for me I've been using IPV6 for at least a year now.
If the router is fine check the IPV6 address first --why not try pinging it.

    Cheers

Does this have to be set on the router, or can it be used on individual machines?
You can set it on individual machines or the router.

I don't think the problem is with Comcast. I think it's the firmware for the router. IPv6 use to work on this router. My router has done a few firmware updates so I don't know when the problem started.

This morning, this DNS service was #1, but since then, they have removed LGBT filter and with that something else, it hardly blocks less known webpages anymore, like those related to animated (child) porn.

The Mistake that Caused 1.1.1.3 to Block LGBTQIA+ Sites Today

But be ware, that it also filters out youtube videos, not sure based on what.

If it filters something it shouldn't, report it to: Cloudflare - Report Miscategorized Domains

I'm sure I read that it only shows videos that are in youtubes safe search.

I decided to try again to see if I could get IPV6 working on my router. I found out that it will not work if I use the setting to block Malware or Malware and Adult content. The original DNS settings work OK. I don't if it's the router or what.

I've been playing around with the Cloudflare Gateway | Secure Web Gateway that this is built on, it's well worth a look for those in a small business environment that want some control over the internet.
