What's 2020-03 Cumulative Update KB4541335? I have it listed as a optional update.

And unless I missed it somewhere I see no mention of it here. And I'm non-insider.
    This?

on 3/24. I have it. Was earlier at some point released to Release Preview Ring, then as Optional to RTM on 3/24.

This meaning it was listed in this forum?

Anyway I found that MS page. Seems this KB4554364 CU fixes an issue with the KB4541335 CU .

    KB4554364 CU Win 10 v1903 build 18362.753 and v1909 build 18363.753-cu-fix-cu.png

I guess I should first break my machine with 1335 then fix it with 4364

For the first time in ever I think I'll hold off on some updates

there is this recent report about KB4554364 from MSPowerUser:

Windows 10 KB4554364 update breaks WiFi for some users - MSPoweruser
I haven't experienced issues with this update. I use Ethernet but tested disconnecting it a couple of times, and WIFI connects immediately without issue. Just FWIW (information), on my end all seems OK with this update.

Interesting--thanks Brink. I'm still on 18363.752, however--and manually goosing "check for updates" (as of today) says I'm up to date.

It doesn't apply to me, apparently. Looks optional, so I'll pass. Interesting that Windows Update does not provide it by design.

    Hello Walt,

Correct. This update is only available for manual download and install via MUC.

It updates an issue that might display the wrong internet connection status for certain VPN users or might prevent some applications from connecting to the internet.

If you are not affected by this, then no need to install it. If you are, I have direct download links in the first post to make it easier to download.

    Hi folks

This is the ONLY version of Windows I've currently got now where I can actually get networking FROM Windows TO non Windows devices working without having to use IP addresses -- I use DHCP so I don't want fixed IP addresses on a home LAN. (Other way around works too i.e FROM non Windows devices TO Windows).

    KB4554364 CU Win 10 v1903 build 18362.753 and v1909 build 18363.753-nwx.png

(Windows Machine is HUNDUR, the other 2 are NAS Linux computers. Other parts of infrastructure also visible and acessible).

    Windows version :

    KB4554364 CU Win 10 v1903 build 18362.753 and v1909 build 18363.753-verok.png

On the insider builds I just see the Windows computer -- nothing else whatsoever. Done all the usual things e.g SMB settings, Lanman / auth / policy stuff, reg enetries etc etc etc. Not a sausage of difference.

Both the fast / slow insider builds -- can't get Windows 10 to communicate with anything else other than Windows 10 computers. (You can of course via IP addresses but then how do you browse the network).

(Previous versions also of this build (1709) work perfectly OK.

All versions though can communicate FROM non Windows devices TO Windows computers.

    Cheers
