Way to annoying to access favorites, too many clicks. Other browsers like Chrome and Firefox you can hover over a favorites folder and the list of bookmarks shows but with Edge you have to click and then click again

That's how it works in any browser.
You first have to click on the bookmarks bar, and then links in every folder will fly out when you hover over it until you click out somewhere else.

That's what I am saying, it is not that way in Edge, no hovering, you always have to click

It's not that way in Chrome for me either. If I hover over a folder on the Toolbar, it does nothing until I click on the folder. Once I've opened the folder, hovering over sub-folders brings up their contents, but so does Edge. As far as I can see they work exactly the same.

Is there an add-on for this in Chrome perhaps? I don't use any. If there is, the same add-on may work in Edge.

For me in Chrome last time I used it and in Firefox only click is to open the list of bookmark folders then everything opens by hovering. It is all clicking in Edge and it is annoying. I don't have all folders in the toolbar, I could try that ...which i just did and no hovering, and after I click open a folder I have to click to close it, the folders don't close automatically, this is not good at all.

The top reason not to switch.

It's text rendering is crap and on my device suffers the same anti-aliasing bug that I get on Chrome.

You can access bookmarks with one click by installing the Bookmarks sidebar extension.

Bookmark Sidebar - Chrome Web Store

I don't like installing extensions but the benefit I get out of installing this extension (better usability) is huge, that I got to have it. I don't like bookmarks toolbars and cant stand opening bookmarks out of drop down menus, so it was a huge gain to find this extension. I am a 100% of the time Firefox user but with this extension, Chromium Edge becomes (in my view) usable and a decent second option browser.
