Hello Windows Insiders, today we’re releasing 20H1 Build 19041.172 (KB4552455) to Windows Insiders in the Slow ring. This Cumulative Update includes quality improvements. Key changes include:

    • We fixed an issue that prevents the Windows logo key + J keyboard shortcut from giving focus to certain Windows tips.

    Known issues

    • We are aware Narrator and NVDA users that seek the latest release of Microsoft Edge based on Chromium may experience some difficulty when navigating and reading certain web content. Narrator, NVDA and the Edge teams are aware of these issues. Users of legacy Microsoft Edge will not be affected. NVAccess has released a NVDA 2019.3 that resolves the known issue with Edge.

    Thanks,
    BLB

Surface Pro 3 had already downloaded the update and was waiting for the manual restart. So far, so good. Will report back if things turn out otherwise. Surprised to see a Slow Ring update: maybe we will see 2004 in May, after all!

The update(KB4552455) went surprisingly fast for me as well.

Did anyone else experience a kinda staggered install?

I haven't monitored previous windows installs as closely, so what I describe could be the norm. On my end, ~15(?) minutes after the install>reboot completed, another update labelled KB4552455(identical KB) appeared. The updates secondary download was small, and no reboot was required post-install.

If it is the norm, then it looks like I learned something today.

I've not noticed that but you sometimes get two install phases before the reboot. That is caused by a servicing stack update. I didn't notice it with this one though.
