    Progression, to my understanding, is:

    Slow Ring > Release Preview > RTM

    So final 20H1 will flow to Slow Ring, test/test. Then working parts to Release Preview, Test/Test. Then finally new 19xxx something to public 20H1.

    I think I'm close. Need more coffee.
    I may have grabbed the wrong end of the stick here (it certainly wouldn't be the first time), but wasn't there an announcement late last year that updates would start going RTM in June and December, although public release would still be per the usual schedule? If so, I think 19041 is 20H1 and what we are currently getting in the Fast Ring will be 20H2 when it finalizes in June.

    @waltc there isnt much time left on the current fast ring. Might as well wait for the next round as the few remaining updates will continue to be small ones.
    Thanks, guys--will do!

    Something like that, yes. 19041 is gonna be 20H1, that's a given (until it changes...... ). The whole thing with some releases in December got clouded. Was 1909 pushed hard to public in early December, after it was available to "seekers" earlier? I get all the dates mixed up, they changed so many times.

    The first 19041 build was December 11th. It's just been CUs since then.

    If the release is going to be June, why have we been getting 100s of small updates?

    Ya lost me when you started to talk about Ubuntu. I still haven't tried it, although I'm very interested. Too much life in the way!

    To get new stuff you'd have to be using Windows 10X for tablets. Why they can't port over the changes they have made there to say File Explorer beats me. We will see what happens tomorrow.

    @martyfelker lol

    My insider machine has two optional updates which I dont think are correct for this machine (see spec pc 2). If they aren't correct, how do I clear this?
