I'm not sure about the "security" of this fix. I have reading in a few of media that this KB can to create other two trouble. Anyway, the members of this forum with the superior quality formation in software and in Windows 10 can to inform about this doubt I have and too much people have. This KB goes like "optional Update". Because don't go like mandatory update?
I can't to update, anymore. I need more information and I Think you know more than you said.

and crash all Windows problem?
my pc stopped all and i had reset to go use it again.... this happens only later this CU...

anyone can replicate?

If you have installed the KB4535996, and also you use a VPN, Windows 10 fail. The best solution is uninstalled this KB. The trouble can be that your PC can't to connect to Internet.

I am "only" 53 and had my youngest son (24) ring me asking if I needed anything and was I alright the other day. Just saying thank you Ashley.

how safe is this update all any issues ?? read thru thread did not see any, but has anyone experienced any at all since install?. just asking before i install this update.

Most have no problems but look at Known and Resolved issues for Windows 10 Nov. 2019 Update version 1909 and see if any of that applies to you.

I think it's merely an accommodation for all those people who are still running 1903--too lazy/disinterested to update, although doing it via CU it's never been easier. There are things in 1909 that aren't in 1903; but nothing in 1903 that isn't in 1909. It looks like they are working towards maybe one new build release per year--so it's sort of a build merger, I suppose. I wish they would go to once a year officially! But right now all of this is idle speculation on my part. I agree that it's a bit bewildering! Maybe it's a platform thing--where the 1909-specific features work well in certain hardware, but not in others...;)
