I don't think you understand. I have 4 operating systems on three computers. All three computers will only boot to the last operating system. Will not display the multiboot menu at all. Only displays the current fast build by booting into it. I have used MR to replace my multiboot system. Have been using this for years and now, this build seems to rewrite the boot system in some way and does not display the menu to boot into other operating systems.

I had the IRQL issue and took the build back two builds ago, then installed and no problems (SO FAR)
Had problems two builds ago and had to clean install the previous build. I've gone back to the previous build until we get a new one.

    Hi there
    @swarfega

    another (IMO easier solution) :

from your Linux system simply ensure efibootmgr is installed, then run sudo efibootmgr where you will see the boot records and the boot order -- just change those to ensure Windows is the ist one.

    Attachment 271131

This method also work when you have different OS's entirely on totally different HDD's --i.e not using "Logical partitions" or any boot manager that looks for other OS's on the same physical HDD's.

Note --doing this merely changes default boot order -- you can still use the bios boot menu on the machine to select whatever OS you want to boot if not using the default one or if using GRUB then you can also use the GRUB menu for booting the appropriate OS. I prefer this method as I keep my HDD's totally separate --i.e my Linux SSD only has Linux on it and my Windows SSD only has Windows.

    Cheers

Thanks Jimbo45, I will look at this over the weekend.

Might not be the same issue but happened to me on the last build. Only booted to the insider fast Windows. Found that timeout had been reset to zero seconds in msconfig. Changed to 15 seconds and boot options were available again.
Thanks. I think that might have been problem. I have never experienced NO BOOT MENU since I've been around. I restored boot with MR. But, next time I'll check to see if the boot has been set to 0 seconds in msconfig. Thanks again.

I found my first problem with this build. I have lost my Network drive. I have a HDD connected to my Netgear router by USB. When I try to access \\readyshare\Backup I get a message that Windows cannot access \\readyshare\Backup. I can access it if I type in \\readyshare\USB_Storage but only one folder is listed.

Check MSCONFIG first thing after every update click Make all boot settings permanent and restart. Got tired of having to redo. No problems after that.

I can put \\readyshare or \\readyshare\USB_Storage in the File Explore address Bar and get access one folder so I know the HDD is there.

    I use \\routerlogin.com\USB_Storage.
    When I try \\readyshare I get error 0x80070035.
    I have a Netgear 7000p router.

Thanks! I tried \\routerlogin.com\USB_Storage and it worked. Any way to map the drive?
