    Urg, this one had four restarts and as this machine dual boots with Linux, it got rather annoying. Is there a way in Grub to priorities Windows over Linux in boot order?
    Manjaro memorizes last boot and keeps Grub to last default. Plus, it does not support secure boot and when enabled, both Grub and Manjaro won't be visible. Windows will be left alone at boot.

    Otherwise, the safest way is to set Windows boot loader first in the BIOS. Editing Grub should be last.

    Hi there
    @swarfega

    another (IMO easier solution) :

    from your Linux system simply ensure efibootmgr is installed, then run sudo efibootmgr where you will see the boot records and the boot order -- just change those to ensure Windows is the ist one.

    This method also work when you have different OS's entirely on totally different HDD's --i.e not using "Logical partitions" or any boot manager that looks for other OS's on the same physical HDD's.

    Note --doing this merely changes default boot order -- you can still use the bios boot menu on the machine to select whatever OS you want to boot if not using the default one or if using GRUB then you can also use the GRUB menu for booting the appropriate OS. I prefer this method as I keep my HDD's totally separate --i.e my Linux SSD only has Linux on it and my Windows SSD only has Windows.

    Cheers

    What is this. All three of my main computers that are all multiboot systems were reset to latest build and no multiboot option is available. This build is problematic!

    As far back as I remember every one resets multi boot, placing Insider always at top as default. That's why I use EasyBCD to fix it so regular windows are first.

    Never had that problem before this build. I have to reset my multiboot menu with MR in order to see other operating systems. This has not happened before on any of my systems.

    Try EasyBCD EasyBCD 2.4 Download - TechSpot much easier. Install on primary OS disk or partition you normally boot of.

    I don't think you understand. I have 4 operating systems on three computers. All three computers will only boot to the last operating system. Will not display the multiboot menu at all. Only displays the current fast build by booting into it. I have used MR to replace my multiboot system. Have been using this for years and now, this build seems to rewrite the boot system in some way and does not display the menu to boot into other operating systems.

    I had the IRQL issue and took the build back two builds ago, then installed and no problems (SO FAR)

    My multi-boot is fine with the exception safe mode boots to GSOD.

    Might not be the same issue but happened to me on the last build. Only booted to the insider fast Windows. Found that timeout had been reset to zero seconds in msconfig. Changed to 15 seconds and boot options were available again.
