The update took 56 minutes on my desktop. So far I haven't noticed any problems. I'll do my laptop tomorrow.

Rolled back on me. First time for that in a while. Did it with an ISO.

No Boot menu on 1 pc boots straight to Win 10. No options for MR or safe mode. Other pc offers the options but when i go to safe mode it turns the monitor off.
Same here—lost my MR boot menu—had to go to cd to get multiboot back.

Imaged using AOEMI Backupper Pro 5.6.0. Hyper=V and VMware WS 20H1 VM (Shared) are in the process of updating. Not seeing any problems so far.

Okay so round two of attempting this update went much better than round one.

Turns out it was not my cleanup routine, or the Dism commands that I use that made it unbootable.

This time I downloaded the ISO from UUPDump and upgraded from my daily driver 18363.720 install.
The install went in flawlessly, and I once again ran through my cleanup routine. This time with success.

I quickly made a Macrium Reflect image and then sat here wondering what went wrong the first time.

The only other thing I did after cleanup was try restaring in safe mode with Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU).
I had read a bit earlier in this thread where people were saying they were unable to boot into safe mode.
So I tried it again. And sure enough, rebooting to safe mode with DDU again resulted in an unbootable install.

Trying to reboot into safe mode the normal way from Windows doesn't work either.
It just flashes my screen a few times, and then boots right back into normal Windows.
At least it doesn't break the install. So beware of using DDU in safe mode on this build.
Hopefully MS or Wagnard, the author of the DDU program can figure the issue out soon.

    peace
