downloaded and installation without any error for while!

Not sure if this should be posted here or in the Antivirus, Firewalls and System Security section.
Ever since installing this cumulative update on March 10th, all Defender definition updates that have been installing after the CU went in are no longer showing up in the Windows Update update history -- but they are showing up in the Windows Security user interface. Two friends also reporting the same thing.
Latest definition update today.....
Installed updates from Windows Update update history. Note last entry is from March 10th just before CU was installed.....
No errors reported anywhere. Anyone else seeing this?
I have one in history for today the 11th and the total is 51? I thought it stopped at 50 and pushed the older ones off.
My virus and threat page is still like the old style.
All the more curious about Defender these days, I'm seeing missing days going back well before this update in:
Settings > Windows Update > View update history > Definition Updates
...compared to what's logged into the Reliability Monitor:

Here's some late breaking news. Defender Platform update - Before: 4.18.2003.4-0 :Now: 4.18.2003.5-0 ::
Same here, I seen the platform update for others but I haven't seen one for me. My platform: Antimalware Client Version: 4.18.2001.10--------------------- Attention ! ----------------------

Weird how I keep getting them, like this newest one: 4.18.2003.5-0
and REALLY disappointed to see it did NOT fix my false 'exclusion item' issue. *sigh*
And why am I so 'lucky'? Why do to keep getting them so quickly?
Current theory is Microsoft sees me as a Defender 'Seeker', a willing guinea pig maybe? I do have a nightly sheduled task that asks for signature updates which will also snag new Platforms I've noticed:
( Of course I have to keep updating this version folder 'n.nn.nnnn.n-n' under ...\platform )Code:Command>"C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Defender\platform\4.18.2003.5-0\MpCmdRun.exe"</Command> <Arguments>-signatureUpdate</Arguments
