Anybody tested this build with VMWare Microcode loading driver? I've been using the driver for sideloading my own latest microcode for the CPU (damn intel with their "swiss cheese" security model). Upgraded to this build and the driver cant load anymore, checked Event Viewer. With the last build it worked just fine.

anyone actually "lose" their settings header with this build? it was my understanding that 2004 was going to be settings header for all, so actually losing it as i upgraded from slow to fast ring (this build) struck me as odd.
normally it'd be good news, as i dont care for it anyways. Unfortunately i cant count on it being uniform across all my pc's and i dislike that oddness even more - so trying to see whats what well enough ahead of time :P
just updated a VM and it does have it still. same build. #microsoftthings
Created a VMware VM on Ubuntu 20.04 with kernel 5.6.0-050600rc5-generic. No problems. Made it a Shared VM.
Hi guys, all new here, so please forgive me if this question is in the wrong forum.
Hae tried installing the latest windows update, Windows 10 Insider Preview 19577.1000 (rs_prerelease), and on the last 2 occasions it has failed to install. Each time the computer then rolls back to earlier installation, which is fine, but then tries to reschedule another attmpt later in the day. Has anyone else had issues with this build, or is it just me. Can I pass on this version and wait until another build comes out, who do they have to be sequential?
Thanks for any help that can be provided.
If you read back on this thread you will find several failures. Sometimes updating with an iso works when WU doesn't . You can get an iso using this tutorial Windows Insider - Get Latest Fast Ring ISO image. Sometimes it also helps if you can go back to an earlier build and update from there. There is no problem waiting for the next build either you can skip builds if you prefer.
