But @Edwin, you know MS uses you to test GSODS!!
Yeah, on one hand I'm shaking my head that M$ is wasting time on icons, when there are real things to fix and do. And on the other hand, if they're going to update icons, why not make them of this century, instead of the 1980's cartoonish icons they ALWAYS stick with??? Why can't they EVER develop for adults, instead of everything looking like it's for a four year old???
I'm just getting started. Had a lot to do today, then had to have a nap, then forgot to check, blah, blah, blah . . .
Build no 19577.1000 seems to be the worst build so far. It seems Microsoft wants to play a cruel joke on us windows insiders. Uup dumps does not work, even individual are imposible to download. On top of that the update service of Microsoft is not working as the downloading part is showing 0% for the past two hours and upteen restarts have failed to resolve the issue
Guess it's my turn (after many updates) not to work. tried 3 times and it just restarts computer at the beginning of installation after first reboot.
After the restart I get funny boot menu with 4 Windows 10 entries in addition to dual boot with regular version and Macrium Reflect entries.
Gonna try with other disk for regular version disconnected.
Just starting downloading. I needed to delete partitions on my larger SDD in order to properly install openSUSE Tumbleweed with GRUB2 EFI because openSUSE wants 256MB for the EFI partition. I also needed to reinstall Ubuntu 20.04 because I went hog wild on installing multiple and apparently incompatible Desktop Environments. Like most other people here I'm irritated at the amount of development effort (as indicated in the webcast) put into ICONS and EMOJIS. I thought the Fast Ring was supposed to be the cutting edge of Microsoft development. So far disappointing. Usually, I just mouseover the icon in order to see the name of the damn program.
