Thanks for the info

I've got a nice "shiny New" Windows Box to play with and loads of spare time this weekend -- everybody is in a bit of "Panic Mode" so nobody is doing much traveling -- I just hope the Internet infrastructure can cope with the "Loads" (at least by our standards !!) of extra people staying at home and downloading / using Netflix at 4K UHD resolutions etc doesn't bring the whole system to a grinding halt !!!

Windows 10 X VM is an emulator. It requires Hyper-V, but is not run in it. In fact, the Emulator Manager even tells that the VM is not shown in Hyper-V Manager:

It runs in its own emulator, familiar to all those who have run various emulators in Visual Studio:

Thanks! I missed that one. Always great to have a "local" archived resource available as MS sometimes seems to misplace or overcomplicate theirs over time.
