Dumb question. How can this be "activated" without some sort of CU or something? Is it just suppose to show up? How????

Maybe this is a Slow Ring thing? Insider thing? No-thing?

That's reassuring! Maybe if I go watch Back to the Future, it'll all straighten out.

Bingo! When a optional updated it available you should see it here. I think they are now tagging driver updates as optional so it is done on the MS end. Just like the "D" update last Month which was tagged as optional.

The thread title says "Windows 10 driver updates will now be manual Optional Updates."
Do driver updates include those for Intel HD Graphics drivers?

Only driver update ? All the updates should have same tick box option..the way it was in Win 7
If you are interested in scripts, consider Using CMD script and VBScript to control Windows Update

Option 7 in the tutorial below is a good option to help get close to that.

I use Windows Update MiniTool to hide updates. It works perfectly.
