    Yes, it did.

    You think you're confused!
Then you have the same OneDrive issue a lot of us did. You now have a catch-22. You cannot get to the "real" OneDrive to tell it to stop syncing because you do not have the task bar OneDrive cloud, which is the tool to get to all the options because OneDrive got busted (for some) on this build. That is why I said earlier I had to do a clean install to get it all straight. It's all back up several pages. Lots of post from lots of members. Not all had the problems, a number did. When you click now on the Start Menu>Onedrive, you're doing the same as going to your user folder and clicking the OneDrive folder.

Maybe others can offer you a different/better solution. I tried everything before I did a clean install.

According to Gen Gentleman on twitter you will have to use the web for now. So I guess they are working on it

Oh! I had no idea I have a problem with OneDrive!

So, would an in-place repair do the same? My Macrium backups are toast and I need to set that up again, so no MR Restore. MR is only as good as the idiot in the chair! I don't know why, but they all started to fail, so that also needs to be addressed.

I'd rather do an in-place instead of a clean install if it's practical.

My file explorer search box is working just fine, and I still have One Drive working just as it always has. It's in my start menu, and in my notification area of my taskbar. When clicking on either, they both open the One Drive folder as expected. So it's strange how some people's computers are having a hard time with it, and others aren't. I'd say look for the common hardware or software that all of the people who are having the problems share. The answer is probably in that. As my former problem with the Ryzen Master software turned out to be a conflict with the CAM software of my AIO.

No, an in-place will not fix the OneDrive. As Andy @DooGie said, the Store App works just fine and is very slick. I've had it for some time. It is very similar to signing on with your MS account in OneDrive on your account. It's a good alternative until as Keith @kado897 said (via Jen) they fix it.

I got it, and there's a little cloud in my Task Bar again. When I open it, it looks exactly like OneDrive that was there before.

I have 4 computers with FAST build. 1 has no problems. Three have the problem with OneDrive. I tried and downloaded OneDrive from Store. One computer accepted this 'fix' and makes use of the OneDrive. The other two keep saying 'one drive is not running on this computer bla bla bla. I'm gonna wait until the next build and see if the issue is corrected. Sent info to Feedback Hub. None of them have issue with search in Explorer.
