Addresses an issue in which a third-party Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) boot manager might expose UEFI-enabled computers to a security vulnerability.

    KB4524244 Security update for Windows 10 - February 11

It does look that all supported Windows versions are affected & addressed - except 1909? Nice.

Patch Tuesday, with 6 machines at various stages of completion. So far, so good. We'll see. MS has been getting bashed lately, especially because of the Search/Start Menu issues. Hope this gets cleared up.

All updasted here now issues so far. With my slow internet and old processor took ~40 minutes from start to finish.

Was hoping the new Edge would be part of the CU, but it wasn't.

Thanks for the heads up Brink.

    All done.....

    Note:

You don't have to put up with that MSRT waste of time if you don't want to. It's not any code updates or security patches. It's a static Defender type scan. I thought there was a Tut for it, but can't find.

Anyway, take a look here: Disable Malicious Software Removal Tool From Installing

Just a registry entry. One to disable it, another to re-enable it. Instructions included, and downloadable Reg files, too.

I've had mine disabled for several months.
