Just to be clear, did you state that an MS function is intelligent? Just verifying..............................

There are a few results it will spit out. Another is:

The system is not in the Compact state but may become so if necessary.
Yup I did make that statement, suppose I could live to regret it though

I take this "The system is not in the Compact state but may become so if necessary" to mean that if disk space runs low then theOS would be compacted.

I've got to say that the latest Insider builds are miles ahead of what we had a few years ago with regard to stability. More like beta testing as opposed to early alpha testing

I just used uup to iso about 4 days ago to make an iso of slow build in order to install it on another drive. Installed with no problem and checked with sfc and dism and no errors reported on the install.
That's ok. A while back, I thought there were some problems, but I guess Kari fixed them. Please don't misunderstand. Not knocking his Tut or method, it's great. If it works for you, continue using it.

The UUPDump is an accepted way to create the ISO, any ISO, without the need for a new build being processed up to the Restart point, or using data from Windows.old. Totally independent of any WU process. I create mine first, just to have in case, before any WU attempt. It's saved me many times.

I like to give WU a go first. It's quite a while since I had to use an ISO.

Both test machines updated fairly quickly. No issues on either the old (2012) X220 Tablet, or the newer (2018) X380 Yoga. Good enough for me.

Uneventful upgrade from 18363.628 to 19559.1000 using ISO from UUPDump in about 25 minutes.
Now I'm off to do some gaming and surfing/streaming live tv etc to test things out a bit .

Release notes say they have addressed the KMODE Exception green screen I was getting on sign outs.
    Hopefully that is really fixed.
