Agreed. Not only is W10 lacking in the customization department, it is full of bugs, for a majority of the users, unstable, have to do nothing but tweaks and reg hacks to get certain normal features back that should have never been removed in the first place. Such as windows & borders & titlebars full customization is gone (unless reg hacked), photo viewer was removed (return with reg hack) and yes for the lot of people freezes, crashes, just overall doesn't run properly. I dont think they were finished on July 29th and released a rushed/unfinished product.
Oh and I already have had the set bug described in this thread, thank god I figured it out, I posted the solution in the gaming section. There is a lag bug in Starcraft 2 that goes away when you remove the unremoveable XBOX APP. Yes, even though I don't own an XBOX I had to powershell remove the app in order to make SC2 work and the lag go away.
Also GTA V has a memory leak, in 8.1 it used 2.5GB of RAM, in W10 it uses 3.5GB of RAM (on an empty system) compared to 8.1 which was loaded with software, and in W10 hard disk activity is at 100% for some unknown system process that I am trying to figure out what's causing it on GTA V and W10. Thank god I'm not using a SSD because that 100% HDD activity would be killing the drive with unnecessary writes.
Don't understand what was the point of the insider program when they removed all the features anyways. The slogan should have been "Windows 10 for PC Users .. we just don't care"
I like W7, but 8.1 runs great if you install Classic Shell/Start8 for the Start Menu, and remove the charms bar. It's seamless after that, and it runs really really good. I just never go into metro interface. I have no idea WTF they did in W10, its like the 2nd gen of ME.
