Installed 19551.1005 in a little over an hour using WU. So far, all is well.

Downloading. Guess I'll fire up my VMware and Virtualbox instances and feed the animals.

Took two tries to upgrade on Hyper-v install. First time rolled back with black screen, second time seemed much faster.

    Hin there

Funny how so many people get different experiences on this -- from UUPDUMP (after creating the ISO took 7 Mins to install from new) --obviously I have to install extra things e.g photoshop etc . Some of the earlier builds took me far longer than other people reported on much slower hardware -- These days I have really fast hardware now. "Well the Wonders of Windows". -- It reminds me of that well known Credit Card commercial --"Don't Leave home Without It".

    Cheers

I tried to install it over 19041.21 and it failed, using the UUP Dump. I may try it again

A quick upgrade install from 18363.592 to 19551.1005 using an ISO created from UUPDump.
Fluffed, dusted, and backed up to image with Macrium Reflect with nothing unusual to report.

Optimize drives reporting does seem to be working properly again as per the release notes.

Old Edge is still not respecting the gpedit settings to not launch/prelaunch tabs at boot up.
I still haven't installed the release version of new Edge, so hopefully when I do that will stop.

Time to go play some games and see if that all works correctly.

    peace
    wanna

It updated on the first try without apparently problems but, it took a long time (I guess longest one for me), 80 minutes.

Restart the VMs, then the physical instances, then I'll go to Ubuntu and get the UUPDUMP ISO than to the other Linuxes and finally back to Windows to do imaging. One VM needed to be activated by using the troubleshooter => changed hardware method so I could get dark mode which is easier on my eye (I lost one to CRVO many yeaRs ago)

This build replaced my NVidia Geforce 441.87 driver to Microsoft(NVidia) Geforce 450.12 driver.
Any info about 441.87 vs. 450.12?
