    Tried UUPDump, never worked.
    Curious, Like Marty....

    Which part did not work?

    1) Finding what you wanted?
    2) Making the script?
    3) Creating the ISO?
    4) Using the ISO to make a bootable thumb?
    5) Using the ISO to do in in-place upgrade/repair?

"Never worked" is a broad statement. It does work for thousands. One thing I can tell you that others will too..... disable any 3rd party AV you have running before attempting. That seems to be the #1 culprit in a failed process.

Made an iso from UUPDump as I always do, and there has never been an issue. I do not use 3rd party anti virus, bog standard Windows 10 install, which has been used as a beta test machine since the first betas, been doing inplace upgrades for each release, and its always worked.

Not knowing what specs you have on your desktop....no info shown under computer.
My problem which took a year to find the culprit in my case turned out to be AMD Graphics.
Solved by opening Storage in Settings....clicking on Other....clicking on AMD....deleting all but the latest driver.

i7 8GB ram, 740M nvidia graphics card (lenovo z500 ideapad). Not great but works for testing, and has worked since 2015. Clean install of 19546 also works, just cannot update from 19041.

On my 19041 install removed all the nvida drivers, intel drivers, even switched to Flight Mode to disable the wifi so nothing would update, still didn't help

Oh, I think I see now what you meant by "never worked". Never worked for updating 19041. Seems I recall you need to go back to 19035 or before, least 19035, then it will update. Something was very quirky with 19041 and updating.

Apparently the report is a 'crock'!

MSFTBear's report is misleading as they've enabled the icons via StartIsBack! Sorry!
