Disabled these, and it's been a few hours now, yeah, I'm going to say that this was the culprit, thanks!

I have Windows all adjusted so that I can use it and it looks good. The new Edge is the only program that exhibits this behavior. But...

FULL DISCLOSURE: I'm a Firefox guy for the most part, and probably wouldn't much use it anyway. I just wanted to give it a fair evaluation.
@sgage I am also a longtime Firefox user and also have poor eyesight however I managed to install all of the same addons in Edge Cromium from the Chrome Web Store that I use in Firefox.

I use the Dark Reader addon and Zoom Page WE addon in both browsers which scales both the page & text at the same time with lots of other options available to adjust my eyesight requirements.

We appreciate everyone's patience while we worked on this. We believe this to be resolved now. Multiple locales appeared to be caching and caused some users to see incorrect languages. Let us know if you still don't see the expected language for your country or region.

    Microsoft Edge Chromium

Just installed it to give it a try. Looks pretty good so far. I just need to figure how to add Adblock Plus and I'll really like it.

Edit: Found it in the Store...now I'm a happy camper.

It's a close relative of Chrome. I had a look at the help and it keeps saying Chrome so I guess that's a cut and paste.

From what I have read from different posts in this thread, it seems that there are still some kinks to be ironed out by MS. As I said in another thread posts #74 and # 76, I will wait to get it via Windows Updates.
