The default User Agent String in Edge is blocking certain scripts, if you change the User Agent and refresh, it'll come through...

After reading these forums , about Edge, the more convinced I am to wait ( skip ?) the update to new Edge !
MS has still a very long way to go ..........this "new" Edge is not yet finished and the word "stable " seems to be an understatement ........
It honestly depends on what people are doing and level of expectations (extremely subjective). I personally have no issues with Edge Chromium because I'm not one to stick a thousand add-ons on it . In fact I can't tell you what add-ons I have because I don't install any (other than what gets installed with the app).

Anyway I now find I much prefer to use Edge Chromium over Edge.

    For me...
    • It plays all my online multimedia fine
    • Has no issues in accessing any of my financial institutions
    • Is fast performing (though I've timed it in nano seconds)
    • Goes where I want to go without issue or worry.
    • Doesn't crash on me.

No add-ons get installed with the app. That's why they're called add-ons. (Or extensions even.)

Perhaps one should learn to actually read before posting....

I don't know if the change is fairly recent, but I have just checked to see if Bell Fibe would work in Chredge and it did. Before, I used to have the same issue with viewing Bell Fibe on previous Edge (Legacy, Dev, Beta), and at that time I could make it work only on FF (I have never tried it on Chrome; so I don't know).

Anyhow, I can confirm without the shadow of a doubt, Bell Fibe is now working on Edge.

For some reason my virus protection, PC Matic, won't allow the new Edge to open. If I pause PC Matic the new edge opens fine.
I uninstalled the new Edge & tried the older Edge & it opened without an issue. Any idea how to fix this?
