    The new Edge is Uninstallable!

Used Brink's link in post 1. No install issue, at all; replaced old Edge. See my prev post for issues regarding sync to Edge Canary which I've been using as primary for months now.

You can uninstall it in Conlrol Pannel.

Yeah, I know that. Did that and found it put old Edge back. But there was a 600MB difference in space after New out and Old back in. Straggler files. Just didn't want any crumbs leftover.

We've seen some reports about the browser being installed in a language other than the expected language. Our team is aware and working diligently to resolve. Please keep an eye out here for any updates!

I got Office Apps installed as well? What gives?I removed the office apps and this also removed the NEW EDGE.

The 'Office Apps' are the online versions already accessible if you Sign-in thru the MSN home page. The new install allows you to access these directly and only work on things in your Onedrive. Any new Excel or Word work is auto-saved to Onedrive until you sync to your PC. Outlook app is just the ad-based version of your msn/outlook.com Mail, so not too useful, in comparison.

All these posts basically tell me to hold off another week except for running in a VM.

I do have one question, though - is the new Edge faster?

Well that was interesting. Somehow I managed to download and install a Dutch language version. MR to the rescue. I think I'll leave it until MS sorts it out.
Interesting. I'm on edge dev and using Brink's second link for downloading, If I clear cashed images and files in Edge dev thisis what I get

Looks like a Edge dev bug?

It's a fault with the site. I had Dutch first time and then UK English the second time I tried.
