I tried using Google's CHROME browser for a couple of months, but it felt too "heavy". Now I know why. Let's hope Microsoft keeps Edge efficient and fast.
One thing I've noticed though, is that Edge/Edge Beta/Edge Developer all removed the "Good Twitter" extension that a kind TenForums member told me about 2 weeks ago. (Got it from the Chrome store. Maybe Google is envious of Edge all of a sudden, LOL.)
Why are these favorites so big spread out on my screen , imported from IE11 .........its just awfull , my web-screen is almost full with the favorites opened ! In old Edge , all favorites nice placed in one row from up to down the screen .........
Is there a setting somewhere , if possible the same size as in old edge................??
#391 I have now looked at the "53 services". In the showed picture I have NONE of these services, and yes I have chrome installed and it is running right now. I have 3 services with "google" in the name:
Google Chrome Elevation Service [not running]
Google Update Service (gupdate) [running]
Google Update Service (gupdatem) [not running]
I don't know where the services the article are comming from, but it is not from a standard chrome install.
Yes, chrome is using more RAM, same speed (at my rig this is) as new edge, and sync works EVERY time in chrome, where new edge still has a lot to learn. So instead of telling a lot of bad things about one browser, then tell the good things about the browser you want to use, i.e. why is some to happy with Firefox? Write the positive things!!
Most will get new Edge before the next version of Windows:
The new Microsoft Edge will gradually be made available on Windows Update and offered to additional devices as data and feedback indicate that users are having a good experience. If you don’t want to wait, you can get the new Microsoft Edge at microsoft.com/edge.
