None really, its a crippled browser right now in comparison. Chrome can save your apps and restore them when you install or reinstall, however, edge still hasn't reached that level of functionality. I'm sticking with chrome as my primary browser.
Indeed. MS is always like 5 years behind the pack in features, they just luck the dev power. Edge has currently to many bugs to be usable. I ignore people using MS apps and asking for support, I consider them to be trolls, since 3rd party apps have everything, what they need and work flawlessly, whether it is an email client or a media player. MS is always experiencing with products and services and it is always abandoning them. IE failed to Chrome, so they made Edge. Edge failed so they made Chrome Edge. I expect it to go down the same. Maybe one day, MS will implement Chromium as a default browser. Edge is a nice browser, on paper.

I've used Chrome only on my Android tablet. And i've been an Edge only user on my laptop since July 2015.
I find the new Edge Chromium a very good and well balanced browser. It can definitely be better and it will be, down the road, since it's been as a stable release for less than two weeks.
Harsh or praising comments at this point, I think that are quite premature. Let's be patient!

Lighter on CPU and RAM compared to Chrome for me.

Maybe a tad bit faster as well.

I'm using the new Edge and slowly I'm finding it faster than IE 11 and legacy Edge.
I do like how it blocks a lot of the junk from websites.
It's just me but I find it easier to find things within MS Edge than Chrome.
Importing and Exporting Favorites are located nicely in the lower left within the Favorites Manager.

I'm sure other things will be coming and can only get better.

Yeah but two big drawbacks for Chrome....uses more memory and doesn't block third party and other junk like Edge/Chrome does...

Totally agreed. Besides, in Chromium-based Edge, go to to Settings from the ellipsis (...) > Privacy And services > Blocked Trackers and see who is at the top of the tracking list (..You guess it right)!!!. I will stay with Edge as my default browser.

    Good Ole Google.

Malwarebytes pulls more memory usage than EDGE does.
But that is expected and good

Hi Edwin. I reinstalled Edge last night. The first time I had it, I only had it for a few hours. For me, uninstalling took 2 seconds, perhaps even less than that as when I clicked uninstall, it was gone. I was amazed of how fast and easy the program went away.

Also, I had read that uninstalling Edge was not cleaning up well and leaving the installation but in my case, it worked out great, it deleted everything but the user folder in AppData and an empty Temp folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Temp.

Agreed - I've blocked the Edge Chromium update for now. What's the advantage anyway (if any) of using Edge Chromium in preference to Google Chrome?
I never used Chrome or any browser that uses the Chromium engine. Never even installed any browser with Chromium engine in my real system. I didn't use old Edge neither as it was not compatible with Sandboxie and couldn't use NoScript with it. Till now, I don't have a second browser. I use Firefox and that's it. It never breaks but if it gets broken, I don't have nothing to replace it with.

So, for me personally, getting to adopt new Edge can be a good thing as it is compatible with Sandboxie, can use NoScript with it and it doesn't have a lot of Google stuff. Perhaps this version of Chromium is gonna be a switch from having Google stuff pushed upon us to MS stuff (like the attempt to force Bing on us) but I think is a no brainer for me getting used to the new Edge as doing so I can finally have a second browser, an emergency browser that I haven't had.

For you, check all the Google stuff thats out of Edge.
