Yes mate I have it, but everytime I download anything it is Edge who is doing it, its over riding IDM, I want IDM to do the downloads. I have enabled all the settings to use IDM but Edge keeps downloading it, anyone know how to force Edge to use IDM please.
This Microsoft Edge extension requires that IDM desktop application is installed. Integration module adds "Download with IDM" context menu item for the file links and displays Download panel over page-embedded multimedia content, providing various helper functions to the main application as well.Internet Download Manager can be downloaded and installed from the official website:Internet Download Manager: the fastest download accelerator

A wide wide shot here, would the settings as per screenshot below help?

How to add open tabs to 'Focused New Tab'.
AFAIK - adding a site to the Focused New Tab page needs to copy paste URLs and naming.
Within Opera for example one can r-click a tab and add this to 'Speed Dial' (which can be compared with Focused New Tab.

In the below example, say I would like to have dpreview added to Focused New Tab, it would be nice to have r-click "Add to Focused New Tab" option.
(Instead of copy paste URL , bla bla)

Maybe I am overlooking a feature though...

Currently that option doesn't exist in the new Edge (according to the "Top feedback", it is not in Microsoft's plans to add that option), but in the right click menu there is an option to add the current page to one of the "Collections":

    Add page to Collections (GIF).

It's not exactly what you ask, but I think it's something similar.

PS, The "Collections" feature is not currently available in the stable version (it seems that it will be added in version 80), but can be tested using one of the shortcuts.

Thanks a lot! I'll give that a try. The installed version is 79, though v81 seems to be available ? (probably still beta). I've sent this idea thru the feedback form (send feedback)
    This FWIW though....

To test the "Collections" feature in the stable version (79), you just have to create a new shortcut and then right click on it, then click on "Properties" and, at the end of the target field (after ms edge.exe") add this command line:
    Code:
     --enable-features=msEdgeCollections
The full path should look like this:
    Code:
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\msedge.exe" --enable-features=msEdgeCollections

When you open the new Edge from that shortcut, the "Add page to collections" option will be available in the context menu.
This is the simplest way to test this feature without messing with system files.

Edge Icon in the Start Menu is still the Old One...

I installed the official version from the link earlier in this thread, but the icon in my Start List is still the 'old' version (see attached screenshot).

Would anyone have any idea why, or how to correct it, please?

Right click on the icon. Select More->Open File Location.

Right click on the shortcut and select Properties.
Click the Change Icon button. It should open a list of the new icons to select.
Select the icon and click OK then click Apply then OK.
