    Hi folks

IMO -- what we used to call a W.O.S (politely !!) or others might call it WPOS --what a pile of S--T.

    Waste of space !!!

Who in their right minds would even THINK of using Edge as their basic browser when there are so many better alternatives --no matter what OS you use.

Ms might be getting the Windows OS sort of OK and the security as well but they are still LIGHT YEARS behind in sensible browsers.

    Cheers

You realise it's based on Chrome now?

The first link I used must have been a goof by MS as it installed a 32Bit version of this New EDGE. I don't know if I will keep it or not. It looks to me on the start page, no different than the Old Edge.

Had to add English (UK) and make default and home page layout setting has no 'show greeting' so no showing local temps etc.

    Hi all,

For those who got the extra Office apps, they are the Online Office Web Apps. You can remove them from Apps - Manage Apps after clicking the 3 dots on the top right.

I hope they finish adding the remaining sync options soon.

Hmm, think I’ll wait til it comes naturally through windows update. I’d rather delay as the sceptic in me imagines bookmarks, favourites bar pinned sites, favicons getting messed up in transition. Try and delay the pain. Maybe I’m wrong though and it’ll be ok but will wait for now . I’m happy with edge in current guise for now

Hmm am I going to lose anything feature wise going from DEV to this RTM (even tough none of the builds were nowhere near ready for RTM)?
